About TireFitLab
TireFitLab helps drivers, enthusiasts and workshop users understand tire and wheel fitment before buying or fitting a new setup.
What the site does
The site combines tire-size calculators, wheel tools and clear reference guides so you can compare diameter, sidewall, speedometer change, load indexes and related fitment details.
How results are built
Calculations are based on shared technical formulas and reference tables. The tools are designed for orientation and comparison, not as a substitute for the vehicle manufacturer’s specifications or a professional inspection.
Our approach
TireFitLab aims to keep pages fast, readable and practical across mobile and desktop, with localized guidance where the site supports multiple languages.
Who runs TireFitLab
TireFitLab is maintained by Maks, an independent software developer. AI tools assist research, drafting and implementation. This site is a software and editorial project; it does not claim an independent tyre-testing laboratory or vehicle-approval role. Contact the maintainer through the contact page.
How this site is made
Calculations share a tested engine, while explanatory prose needs separate review. Tests reduce arithmetic and integration errors; they cannot guarantee that every statement or translation is correct. Source review covers the identified claims and linked sections. A content update, technical check and source review are different activities; the relevant date describes the work actually recorded.
Where the numbers come from
Nominal geometry comes from tyre markings and formulas. Load and speed lookups cite UN R30/R54 within their scope. Generic rim-width ranges and diameter presets are editorial screens, not an ETRTO approval of a specific tyre or vehicle. Selected guides link public evidence such as NHTSA, transport authorities and manufacturer instructions; those links do not certify the entire site.
Corrections
Found a wrong number or a claim without a source? Tell us through the contact page. Confirmed errors are corrected in the engine or the source registry, and the affected pages get an updated review date.
